I am thinking about upgrading my PC. Right now i have:

Operating System
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1
CPU
Intel Core i5 2500K @ 3.30GHz
Sandy Bridge 32nm Technology
RAM
8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 798MHz (9-9-9-28)
Motherboard
ASRock Z68 Extreme4 (CPUSocket)
Graphics
VE248 (1920x1080@60Hz)
Intel HD Graphics 3000 (ASRock)
1023MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti (MSI)
Storage
931GB SAMSUNG HD103SJ ATA Device (SATA)
Optical Drives
ASUS DRW-24B1ST a ATA Device
Audio
Realtek High Definition Audio
Power supply
850 Watt

My computer runs pretty decent right now but I'm getting to the point where I can't run some games on high graphics with high fps. I was thinking about upgrading my graphics card to a GTX 650 Ti or 750 Ti. Any suggestions? I'm thinking around 100 to 250 dollars budget.

Oh wait - 100-250 budget.. Well your PSU can handle A LOT more but the GTX 760 and R9 270x are probably the fastest ones in your budget. The rest of your system looks fine to me.

A 750 TI is excellent for the $120 to $150 budget. A GeForce GTX 760 or Radeon R9 270X you could pick up for around $220ish seeing you can go up to $250. I don't see you going wrong with any of these cards.

You want your upgrade to be a significant jump.
Otherwise, you may be disappointed if you don't see much difference.
You should look at a card that is several tiers higher in tom's hierarchy chart:

In your case, Look at a GTX760 or even a GTX770.
There are equivalent performing amd cards, but a nvidia upgrade will just drop in,, avoiding driver change issues.

This is the best he will get in his budget, and yes he will see a nice jump in FPS.
