I recently built a computer with:
Zalman z11 plus hf1 ( Came with 2 80mm fans and 3 120mm led fans)
thermaltake tr2 430watt power supply
msi z97 gaming 3 motherboard
evga geforce gtx 750 gpu
intel core i3 4130 3.4ghz cpu ( used in another computer prior)
Wd blue 1tb hdd ( also previously used)
2 sticks of ram in dimm slots 2 and 4

When i try to turn the computer on nothing turns on not even fans or lights with no display detected by the monitor except for the msi debug light which i know that there is a code for diagnosis but i am unfamiliar with it.
any help or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi

read then follow the faq to try to isolate the fault

http://www.tomshardware.co.ukforum261145-31-perform-steps-posting-post-boot-video-problems

The graphics card can be removed and internal Intel graphics used

most common mistakes in assembly
check the ATX 12V (4 or 8 pin) connector is connnected
check no mountilng pillars in wrong location causing short circuit

best of luck
come back when you have exausted all the options in FAQ

So I tried to tried restarting the computer after I removed the graphics card and reinstalled the cmos coin battery and the leds and fans in the case going on and the motherboard appearing to have power with the peripherals plugged into working as well as the optical drive and the leds on the keyboard and mouse but now there is no display detected by the monitor
Does this help isolate the problem? And how do I get a display to appear now?
