USB 8Gb to 5Gb? Help!!

I Installed mac os x on my USB drive to install as a hackintosh (which was unsuccessful) and when i formatted the drive after i only had 5Gb instead of 8Gb

When going to disk utility shows ful drive with 2Gb un-allocated but i cant format or expand

You might have partitioned the USB drive. Windows can only see the front partition of a removable drive
you might wanna use some partitioning tool to reclaim the other partition something like G-Parted.
