I have these items in my cart at amazon and was curious if you folks think this is a good cheap build for video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro CS6. These items are in my budget, but if there is anything that is worth upgrading to I could save up a bit more. What do you think? I already have the case, HD, and OS.

Since you are doing video editing, faster RAM would actually make a difference. Just about everything you've suggested looks pretty good, but get the fastest clock speed for RAM you can afford, after buying a killer CPU. There are many making arguments that video editors don't even need a GPU. If your budget is ~$600 then you're in good shape. Just remember that for photo and video editing the CPU is king. You can also overclock for some more performance, just make sureyou have a good CPU cooler.

The next step up in performance is a big one. If you can possibly afford it the next step price-wise is the Intel Core i7-5820K. It comes with 6-cores, and with hyperthreading you have a virtual 12 cores at your disposal. This would involve a difference mobo, and a good cooler as well though, so might be out of your price range. Hope that helps :)

The Corsair CX series are perfectly capable of out putting their rated loads . They are not the best , they are not the highest quality but they are perfectly good enough .
Especially for a build like this that will draw 200 - 220 watts MAXIMUM where the psu will be very lightly loaded

just my opinion from past experiences been a teckie for over 10 years now and seen many fail

Ive been building computers for over 30 years , and I have never seen a Corsair CX psu fail in service
If that was my PC , I'd be 100% happy the psu was good enough .
