Ok so here is my set up below , what i would like to know is what YOU would have instead of my GTX 660 graphics card. something that will work well in my specific rig.

Thanks in advance.

600W corsair psu (Gaming edition 80 plus bronze)
i7-4770k 3.5GHz (overclocked to 4.2GHz)
GTX660 Geforce
1TB HDD
Corsair H55 CPU cooler
Gigabyte Z87 HD3 motherboard
8GB kingston hyper x RAM
5.1 sound card
with windows 7

If its a CX corsair then I'd limit myself to 500W - a gtx 760 or r9 270x (about the same as a gtx660ti)

Unless you also want to buy a new and better power supply.

I threw in a large PSU in case you want to SLI later.

I'm pretty sure the gaming edition means the Corsair GS600, which is great! Don't worry about your power supply.

If it were me with that kind of a set up, I'd get either an R9 290 or go for the higher-performance GTX 780 Ti depending on how much you are willing to spend.

I would also suggest waiting for a few weeks till Nvidia releases their new 900 series. Then the 700 series will drop in price.

You ca spend your life waiting for the next best thing. Sometimes its better to just dive in on a good buy.

True, though i was suggesting that he waits till the 700 series drops in price, not get a 900 series.

The Asus versions of the R9 290 and the 780 Ti (as an example) use 250 watts power. Even with all your components on top of that you should be fine, and the GS600 is an excellent PSU for overclocking too. If you want to add another card into an SLI or Crossfire configuration you'll want to go up, but if you don't plan on doing that then there's no need to.

The Sapphire Tri-X R9 290 is awesome. Runs under 40C idle and about 55 max gaming :)
