so this is a real problem. There are a lot of people who will recommend an expensive intel CPU when there are perfectly decent AMD ones that will do better whilst being cheaper.I am neutral about processors, but I will say one thing. AMD wrecks face (pardon the expression) at lower budget CPUs and all around rendering and etc. And Intel is more for the people who have an unhealthy amount of money to spend on their computer(delivers better high end performance than AMD). What do you guys think about it ?

Intel have much better per core performance.
AMD can come out ahead in synthetic benchmarks and heavily multi-threaded applications, but even the humble Core i3 comes out ahead of 8 core AMD CPUs in gaming benchmarks.
That and of cause the huge difference in power usage and heat produced.

The amd fx 8350 is pretty cheap and costs a lot less than the i5. The i3 is good but not really a good example as it is pretty much useless at a lot of other things. I say give credit to AMD for making good and cheap CPUs,and credit to intel for the high end cpus that drive quad sli and etc

Looking up the prices here in Australia, the cheapest you can buy an FX-8350 is $199 while you can get a core i3-4150 for $109 from the same store. Far from the same price. In fact the core i5-4460 is $185, still cheaper than the FX-8350. I would choose the Core i5.

spending and extra 100bucks on the main component of the pc, which is cooler, more efficient and more powerful than the alternative and is a fraction of the total cost of the pc, I don't call that having too much money.

If you don't want to read posts about people recommending Intel cpus, then filter them out based on the title. But I doubt you'll get much support trying to insult people on this forum.
