my build

msi z97 g45
i7 4970k
8bg ram
gtx 780
250gb ssd
630 watt psu

ive tried switching the gpu into different slots no difference
tried using only integrated graphics result the same
ran heaven and valley bench marks got good scores
my temps are ok cpu 32'c idle upto 50 when gaming gpu upto 70'c whilst gaming

Seems like just a poor network connection or you're having a high ping

Stuttering in online games only would refer to network and isp you would have thought.

I wouldn't suspect anything wrong with your pc in other areas such as bad memory or overheating as you said single player performs fine.

What have you done differently to the system in the last week? If Microsoft updates were included in that then maybe there's something relevant like a security updates affecting inbound traffic for example.

hoax187 might be right, it could be because of high ping in which case isp/cable line is the problem

in the last week as i thought it could be hard ware related i reformatted just to eliminate any diver issues ect. and reinstalled the cd with the mobo did windows update i have 8.1 btw. and intasleed 2 games Bf4 and smite. like now i just did speed test 9ms 60meg a second but just before these problems started to arise my internet is extremely slow when firs booting up and takes a good 5 10 mins to settle.

but strange thing was when i first experienced it i switched the pci slot and it was fine for one day then the day after the same

Possibly something wrong with Ethernet cable or port? as in when you insert the plug you apply pressure and perhaps it takes awhile to come loose. Check it out, both cable and port on pc and router/modem side.
