Hello,

I'm long overdue for a new monitor and I desperately need your help

I recently purchased a gtx 780 and I'm honestly not very happy because I'm currently still using a 1680x1050 120hz monitor. Don't get me wrong, the frames are great but the lack of screen estate really sucks.

I really like the rog swift. However, the monitor has no competition so ASUS is obviously price gouging. So my question is, if you were in my shoes, what would you get? Should I tough it out until 4k becomes viable? Should I go the 1440p route? Is 144hz 1080p even worth it?

I mostly play WoW and rts games somewhat seriously. FPS games, not so much anymore. My budget is $600-800

Cheers

A nice 27 in 1440p would be just the ticket -
