hello

i'm building a cheap gaming rig for my friend, what do you guys think/ what would you change?

he wants to play games at 1080p at medium settings.he mainly want's pc because his laptop keeps thermal throttling in game.

the budget was €600 but i bumped it up to €715.
also amd's athlons are not available on the store.

the rig:

cpu: i3-4130
mobo: GA-Z87 HD3
RAM: 8GB corrsair vengaence
psu: corrsair CX430
HDD: 1Tb WD black
case: NZXT lexa S
gpu: SAPPHIRE R9 270X OC
OS: windows 7

so are these parts recommended?
i tried making the pc cheap but upgradable.

thanks in advance

CPU: i3 4150
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97 D3H(allows for OCing and upgrading to a 4th gen K series i5 or i7)
RAM: 2x4GB G.Skill Sniper Series 1866 MHz CL9 (doesn't have a big heatsink,same quality as Corsair Vengeance)
PSU: Seasonic S12II Bronze 620W(allows for upgrading to a stronger GPU in the future)
Other parts are good.

I would personally go with a Intel Pentium G3258 and a H97 motherboard.

Don't get a Corsair CX Series. ;)

i'm trying to buy all the parts from one vendor that i trust (pxmania.be)
it's pretty cheap their aswell

here are some PSU's i found:

AKASA Venom 550W
cooler master thunder b500 (500W)

i don't know a lot about psu's other then you can't go cheap on them, so what would you reccomend with a -+ €60 price range?

If those are the two options, none are great. But to pick one it will be the Cooler Master.

Pick one from tier 1-2 that is availed in your country. If tier 1-2 can't fit your budget then get a tier 3 or stay with the CX series. Here is the PSU tier list to assist you out.

OK,these are the best I could find:
http://www.pixmania.be/nl/pc-voeding/enermax-etl550awt-...
Tier 2 Class A

Tier 2 Class B

Tier 2 Class A
I would personally go with the NAXN 650W,since it is decent quality PSU,it will be enough for your system and it has the most power out of these three.
Now,the 550W one is good if you don't plan to upgrade your components, especially the GPU. If you do want to,but don't want to upgrade your PSU,then the NAXN 650W or Antec HCG 620 ECO are better choices.

i'll follow your advice and put in NAXN ADV 80+.

Yes.
Good luck with building the PC.
Don't forget to build it on a wooden table, not on a carpet. ;)
