Format partition help

So I am trying to format my new hdd and it has a bunch of options of which i have no clue what to choose. Should I enable file compression? what are the best options? I will be recording gameplay onto this drive btw

this is a new harddrive, should I enable quick format or not?

Running the first time, you'll probably need to format it. Quick Format is fine. It doesn't need to be 'enabled'.
