Hi guys.
I am gonna buy a GTX 560 to replace my 8800GT that I had got almost got for free and fixed the artifacts on. However, when looking at the requirements for it, it says that I need 2x 6 pin connectors to power it, but my PSU only has 1. The minimum PSU power needed to power it is 450W, and I have a 475W one.
So my question is if I could use a Molex to 6 pin adaptor to power that GPU while also using the other 6 pin.

Thanks.

Here is my PSU model: DPS-475CB A (I have a xw4600 HP Workstation...)

You're going to need to upgrade your PSU man. If your PSU doesn't have enough cables for the GPU, chances are, the PSU that you have will not suffice the GPU that you're planning to have.

I suppose you can stay with the molex to 6 pin for a while, but you need to upgrade the CPU because it will not last long.

What are the rest of your system specs? That way I can show you a rough estimate of how much power your system is using.
