No it will not work they are completely different generations on different gpu cores, it will not work.

I thought so but I am unfamiliar with gpu coolers so I thought I may as well ask also is there any nice simple looking aftermarket coolers I could get ? if you know of any that is

Im afraid not, I would get a knew card anyway as that card is old now. I would suggest a 750 Ti, 760 or a 770 if your on a budget. Or a R9 270X - R9 280X.

I have my main build anyway, This was for my living room ITX Home Theater my main build has a 780 but thanks anyway
