Definitely no by all means. All your components are solid today. The new i7's barely show a performance difference from the ivy bridge line, 16GB DDR3 1600mhz is still being sold today, the 7970 was rebranded as the R9 280x, and 1TB 7200rpm is also common for storage space.

i7 3770K and HD 7970 can handle any latest games at ultra and ram is perfect

Still a good build for years to come. 10 years ago each new generation of hardware would show improvement of like 25%, now though, the improvements are very small with each new release.
