Not ever had an issue connecting case connector pins to the motherbaord but not been successful with my first Phanteks Enthoo Pro.
The Motherboard is MSI Z97 MPOWER
Just built the system, motherboard turns on from its own power switch and all fans spin, signal goes to monitor. Power switch on case does not power on the system.
There are 2 separate cables for the case, First set with;
POWER LED+
POWER LED-
RESET SW
HDD LED +-
Another cable with just;
RESET SW
The first set of cables plugs in with all pins marked on the adapter that came with the motherboard but there are no markings visible for the 2nd 'RESET SW' pin cable
