Building PC for the first time

Solution
Looks like everything will fit. Main thing in getting a Hyper 212 is to make sure the case is wide enough and the 300R at 8 inches will work just fine.

For good cable management you may need to get a 8 pin extender for your CPU power if you want to run it under the MB and out the top. Or you can just go over the MB and run it up the back of the case. That's the only thing I really see.

I've checcked the CPU cooler and it does fit with 11cm to spare in the case. I'm not to sure about the 8 pin extender thing? as it is my first time build. What would having it achieve?

The problem with that is some games are beginning to require a i7 for rendering, and eventually i would need one. So buying one now i see would be saving me some money in the future also i might get a GTX 770 anyway, and also what would be better two 760s or a 780ti? ( I'm still undecided on the GPU )

Older Cases used to have the PSU at the top instead of the bottom, so the 8 pin CPU connector is located at the top of the MB. Most cases now days, including yours, put the PSU at the bottom. They also have good cable management now, giving you room under the MB tray to run cables. However, with the 8 pin still being located at the top of the MB, you rarely have a long enough cable to run under the MB tray all the way to the top of the case, then come back out and plug into the CPU power connector.

It's not a big deal at all. You can always run the 8 pin over the MB to the top. It's only for if you want a really clean look.
