I have an FX 6300 paired with a Gigabyte 970a ds3 mobo.I had only noise problems with my stock cooler!I recently bought a zalman cnps10x .I tested before on aida64 and the results was motherboard at 48℃ and CPU at 57-58℃maximum.after installing the new cooler I test again on aida64 (same time) and I got 37 on motherboard (because a lower the so it can cool the mobo too.OK when I saw I was surprised by the temperatures but the problem is on idle it gets 16℃ when I have 27℃ in my room.Pam is turned off by default .

there is certainly something wrong. double check your temps using a few other programs(Core Temp, HWMonitor, SpeedFan, Open Hardware Monitor) if you are getting the same results, check in your motherboard bios for the temps. if your bios also says those temps, there is probably something wrong with your mobo.

Actually I already check core temp and is the same now as for the mobo I don't now if I can trust because they are saying that FX idle temperatures are wrong.

At accurate thermometer from the natural gas so in the winter when we selected a temperature and it drops below, it automatically turn on.OK my room is bit hotter so 1-2℃ more.the thermometer is 1.5-2 meters above the floor.the thermometer is close to my room.but there is no way it could colder I feel it.
