Hello, guys.

I'm buying a new CPU+MB+RAM for a friend. He has Pentium E5200 and 9500GT but his motherboard is not working. Now he's gonna buy G1820 and my question is - which GPU is better - the one in G1820 or 9500GT(It's that version - link, so it's probably DDR2)? And if the iGPU in G1820 is better, do he need to buy 2 memory sticks or 1 is enough (single 4GB DDR3 stick or 2x2GB DDR3 sticks)?

Better off buying the G3258 for $20 m ore IMO.
2 memory sticks is preferred over 1 if he can afford it, this way you run in dual channel mode.

I'm not sure which is better but he can build without it and test. Then Install the 9500 and restest and see which performs better.

The budget is too tight and in my country G1820 costs $37 and G3258 costs $82. So it's not an option. I know that 2x2GB is better but he will buy motherboard with only 2 RAM slots so the future upgrade may be a bit complicated if he get 2x2GB.

I found the answer - 9500GT is a lot faster than iGPU in G1820. I saw that chart and also spoke to few PC parts retailers and they confirmed that 9500GT is better.
