Hello.I am having issues with my GTX 770..I was BF4 and all of a sudden screen frozen and i get an error say ( Display driver stopped responding and has recoverd. Display driver NVIDA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 340.52 stopped responding and has successfully recoverd)

I called EVGA and the tech told me to do a reinstall driver under custom and uncheck everything but the driver and still haveing the same problems..I am also having a black screen after windows logs in..all I can see is my mouse pointer...Now I've put my old card in and it seems fine..Is it a driver issue or my card is bad????!!

SPEC
Asrock z97 FATAL1TY KILLER

if the 760 works fine in the pc it not a driver issue but the card itself has failed.

Try the 770 on the system with the 760 in it and see if it does the same thing.

Yes, I can see them. It's what people refer to as "artifacting" - it usually happens with unstable overclock or when the card is overheating.

Check if the fans are spinning properly and clean the fans and the heatsink of the card from dust. Install HWinfo and run it with a tick on Sensors only and check what's the GPU temperatures.

If it isn't overheating it could be that the card has failed and if you are still under warranty you can try and arrange a RMA.

Aha, I see. Well, since you've tried it in two different machines and the result is the same it could be faulty then which is a shame as RMA could be annoying. Hope you get it sorted soon.
