I just got a new case (Deep Silence 6), and it doesn't have as much fan power as my old one. (I'm thinking about water cooling in the near future also). Speed fan says my HDO is at 50 degrees Celsius sometimes which worries me a bit. Does anyone know what that is and if it can be water cooled?

I would be worried because HDDs should be kept in the 20-30 range. Given that that case has two 140mm fans blowing onto the HDD cages (and assuming your case isn't either clogged up with dust or that you did not remove those fans), you should not be seeing temps that high. If the temperature reading for that drive is not faulty, that high of a temperature is a telltale sign that your HDD is unhealthy.

Yes, you can watercool an HDD but unless your ambient temps are 100 F+, it should be completely unnecessary as air cooling is good enough for typical drives.
