i am running the sound from my PC to a tv with and HDMI cord. The other day i updated my graphics card driver and after restarting the computer to have the update finish, the sound cut out completely. i have tried uninstalling and re-installing the driver but nothing works. if i plug speakers into the back of the PC the sound works but no sound will come through the tv any more so it is definitely the graphics card. i have a GeForce GTX 670
