I am not sure if this is the right forum as storage is pretty wide, but i dont know of any other dependable forum to post this question.
I am looking for the best medium to store my personal data for long periods. Especially my pics and some sensitive data.
I have a WD 1TB External Hard disk which recently fell and seems to be damaged internally.
The data i have is around 10gb. I am thinking of moving the data to a pen drive. I am rarely going to be accessing the data. I would like the data to last very long. I have tried storing them in DVDs but that was a very bad idea, and then i moved to External HDD. Is there any specific type of Pen drive i should go for and is there anything better than Pen drive. The data is not going to increase.
