Hello guys, I would really appreciate it if you could suggest me a good gaming GPU that is compatible with my PC.
Proccesor: AMD Athlon II X2 3.00 GHz
RAM: 4GB
(current)GPU: ATI Radeon 4600 HD

I would really appreciate some suggestion by the gods of tech.
Thanks.

Gigabyte Radeon 7850 HD. I have it and I am willing to sell it for a price we can negotiate in a PM (private message).

However, depending on your needs, you may need something much more powerful. What are your needs and what kind of PSU do you have?

I was told that it would be better to get a Nvidia card instead of Radeon though.

Fan boys will be fan boys. I only buy Nvidia because they've worked for me, but I'd never tell anyone that one brand is better then the other. Both are good brands and one will come out on top of the other depending on your need, price range, size range, and power consumption.

ATI and Nvidia compete with prices and performances are hit and miss (some Nvidia are better at lower, while some are better a higher, as well as Radeon being the same way). Honestly I have a R9 290 (which is an AMD card) and it is awesome. I was going to get an GTX 770 but I got this for 60 dollars cheaper.

The only thing Nvidia has over ATI is Linux support, and if you're gaming, right now that doesn't really matter much.
