Can i run GTA IV?
My pc specs are:
Processor: Intel pentium dual core 2.4 Ghz
RAM : 2 gb ddr2
video card : nvidia geforce 8600gt

Maybe on the lowest settings, although the game was horribly optimized, so it might not be smooth.

Pretty much as above. Low end CPU and GPU aren't meant for gaming. You really need a strong quad and good GPU for that game.

If you do try and run it, make sure you download the update as it will fix the huge problem with fps from the standard install. If its from steam it will be fine.

Another problem you have is that you only have 2GB of ram. The game can run on vista and xp with a minimum or 1.5GB. That means you will be using the lowest settings and if anything in the background runs like antivirus, web browser, or anything it will freeze up and close down.
