Hello all long time reader, first time question.

Points on the subject at hand:

I will probably at most go dual screen, but for the most part be playing single screen.
I probably will never plan on worrying about going to go 4k and the like.

Keeping that in mind is the 770 viable to play all games recently released at max settings?

Thank you for any replies.

If you have the budget go for 780. It runs cool and quiet (mostly) and you will be able to play future games without having doubt on your hardware .

For future proofing is the extra 150 or so worth it for the 780 for single monitor playing or do you think the 770 2/4 gig will be able to handle games such as Dragon Age: Inquisition with no problems?

You should get decent performamce that game with a 770 but if you plan to play demanding games at dual screen go with the 780
