What do you look for in an HDMI cable

As a gamer and film fantatic I want to know what a consumer must look for to make there visual experience ideally better.

Length. HDMI is digital and if the cable is too long you will lose signal. I would not go over 15ft. The other thing is shielding. Thicker cables are usually better shielded. Other wise a cable is a cable.

Do not fall for the gold connector scam. Gold connectors are not going to do that much for you and it will cost you a lot more for.
