I was planning on building a budget rig but I can't decide on what gpu should I buy i've read that the gtx 760 beats the r9 270x but in the recent review about the r9 285 with the new game titles it seems that the r9 270x is now beating the gtx 760.. and I know that after reading the r9 285 I should probably get that out of the two, but my problem is that the only available brands for now in my country are the power color and the VTX3D one. price don't really matter as for my budget is ok with any of these VGA's but the r9 270x is way cheaper than the other two. so any advice guys?

BTW here's what I already have i'm only missing a good entry level VGA

[CPU] AMD FX 8320
[MOBO] MSI 970 gaming
[GPU] ??
[PSU] Cooler Master GX 650 watts
[HDD] WD 1TB 7200rpm

It's pretty much up to personal preference. I personally would go for the r9 270x, r9 280x that you mentioned, or r9 285. The 270x will be on the bottom performance-wise, with the 280x on top and 285 in the middle. If you end up going with the r9 270x I recommend the Gigabyte version, I own it and it stays super cool and performs very well. Probably overclocks pretty well because of the great cooler too. As for the 280x, if it is at such a low price I would go for that. I wouldn't even consider the gtx 760 because, at least in the U.S., the price to performance just isn't there versus AMD's cards. Do keep in mind that the r9 285 does come with AMD's new gpu technologies such as crossfire without a bridge, better power management...
