Question about 1 x 6-pin PCIe and GTX 750 Ti

I am going to buy a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 750 Ti, which has something called "1 x 6-pin PCIe". I don't know what it is about.
Motherboard: Asus P7P55-M
My question will there be any problems with connecting them? I don't even know what 1 x 6-pin PCIe is used for and if it's about something else, could you explain what is it used for?

And he doesn't even need that if he would get one of the many GTX 750 Ti models that don't require one. O.P., any of these get all the power they need from the PCI-E slot on the motherboard - no six pin power supply connector needed. They perform exactly the same all the ones that do require a six pin.

Yea it looks like your PSU has 1 6pin connector. 750ti should be ok but if you want a graphics card bigger than that you will need a new power supply. Your PSU is fairly generic so picking up a brand name PSU wouldn't be a bad idea in the future if you know how to install one.
