I'm building a gaming pc and I'm not sure how much power I need. I've used psu calculator websites and they all seem to give a recommended psu wattage of around 400w.

Here are the different results:

MSI: 344W
eXtreme: 400W
Cooler Master: 426W

I will either get the EVGA 500W 80 Plus PSU, or the EVGA 600B 80+ Bronze PSU which costs £15 more. I am on quite a tight budget, but would it be worth having the extra 100W?

Thank you.

PC Setup:

AMD FX 8320
Gigabyte GA-970a-ud3p motherboard
Sapphire Radeon R9 270X
G.Skill RipJawsX 8GB (2x4GB) 1600MHz
LiteOn 24x Internal SATA DVD RW Drive
1TB Seagate Barracuda
Corsair Carbide Series SPEC_01
iyama ProLite GB2488HSU-B1 24 inch monitor

A 500w PSU should be OK but if you plan to add an other GPU in the future go for at least 600w
