Motherboard buying help

Buying a new motherboard and I want to get the Noctua NH-d15 for my fx-8350.

I looked on the compatibility page for the NH-d15 and the Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3 is listed but I can't find it on scan. I can only find the Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P.

I was wondering if they were the same thing and the Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P is compatible aswell

it says the GA-970A-DS3P is compatible here and it's a very reliable source.

The 3P will be fine, it's an update to the original GA-970A-DS3 which came out about early 2012, the P model is from about Mar/Apr or so last year, both will be fine w/ the cooler (which goes by socket type)
