Hi :)
I'm going to order new RAM tomorrow, but i'm still not sure which ones are will be the best ones for me.

My selection:

Patriot Viper 3 DDR3 2x8GB 2400MHz CL10 XMP
G.SKILL RipjawsX DDR3 2x8GB 2400MHz CL11 XMP
Patriot Viper 3 DDR3 2x8GB 2400MHz CL11 XMP

They'll be used in gaming and graphics editing (that's why i want to go with high MHz 16GB)

i7 4790k @4.5 + ASUS Z97-A

Would be great if they'll be bule / black colored.

Post at least few examples, there might be problems with availability of some models in my county :(
(ie. i can't even order these ones: G.SKILL Ares Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3)

More about : ram 2400mhz

G.Skill Trident X 16GB 2400mhz (2x8GB) DDR3 :)  I have the 8gb version of the trident RAM.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Not to mention $20 off :p

Gaming doesn't benefit much from higher clocked RAM.

Graphic design, however, does :)

In a blue/black 2x8GB I'd go the Ripjaws X F3-2400C11D-16GXM, better, but in red would be the Trident X F3-2400C10D-16GTX, tighter CL (10 vs 11) and more OC headroom if you want faster down the road), believe they run $8 more

I've been pretty strictly running Trident X in my builds for over two years (still experiment with whatever sets I get my hands on), the Tri's are the best line out there for upper end Intel builds. It's my first suggestion to clients for their builds also ;)

Just checked prices, and it looks like all RAM memories are up to 40% more expensive in my coutry...
(170$ vs almost 300$)
Maybe i'll order them in UK, i dunno...

Just google them for your area. The price increase is most likely because of shipping. Try to get the Trident X'es though.

G.Skill TridentX DDR3 2x8GB 2666MHz CL11 XMP +Turbulence F3-2666C11D-16GTXD

G.Skill TridentX DDR3 2x8GB 2400MHz CL10 F3-2400C10D-16GTX

One of this ones, (both in reasonable price, and available in my location)

Questions is: Is it worth to pay 45$ more for 2666 ones ?

No. Just go with the 2400mhz.
