Hey guys, I have a PS4 that is connected via hdmi to a Sony Google tv. I don't remember the exact model number, and I don't have any of the documentation. I have noticed when I play games like Infamous: Second Son and the minecraft demo, there is a input lag that is interfering with my ability to play the games. This also happens when I plug in my gaming pc. I did some research, and it turns out that a lot of people were having this problem in 2012. I can't find any forum posts or articles in 2014 that addresses this issue. Is there a way to get rid of the lag or at least reduce it? Returning the TV isn't an option, it was bought over 2 years ago.

Make sure that post processing is turned off in the options and that energy saver isn't on. If the tv can switch modes, game mode will often reduce input lag.

As a note, TVs generally have much higher input lag compared to monitors.

Energy saver was already off, I didn't see a gaming mode, and I couldn't find post-processing anywhere.

Try looking for motion smoothing. Other than buying a new TV, there's no way you can improve input lag other than those few tips I gave.

Hopefully the tips help!
