My computer seems to be malfunction do to an unknown reason. I am able to power on the computer with all the fans spinning, but nothing is being displayed. I have checked the cord numerous times in hopes it was the culprit, alas it seems it is not. Please note this is an archaic computer, 6-7 years old. Any help is welcomed and appreciated.

Forum needs more information. What make and model computer is it if it is a pre-built/purchased computer?
If it is a custom build/do-it-yourself: CPU make and model, graphics card make and model, RAM - amount, speed, make, "model", motherboard make and model, Stock or add-on CPU cooling, case make and model and number of case fans, and last but not least the make and model of the Power Supply Unit.
The Power Supply Unit (PSU) should have a sticker on the side to tell you who made it and also, important and need it here, the power it supposedly produces on the +12V, +3.3V and +5 V rails (a picture of that label would be excellent.).
Thanks.

I attempted to remove all the RAM except one as was suggested and the system posted. It went through its different stages of posting as usual until I reached a message that notified me of a Disk Boot Failure and I should Insert a system disk to continue. Is the hard drive no longer able to function?

As for the needed information, the model is an HP Pavilion a6157c TV PC. It is a pre-built machine with an added Geforce GT 610 Silent from Asus. The specs are entailed here:http://. I should mention that the processor was replaced with Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor E6700 as was the power supply which is a Dynex DX-400DPS Power supply. Here is the picture: http://. Thank you for the assistance.

I was doing a bit of testing and after I reconnected the internal cables, the system booted into the OS and everything was working as usual. This was with one RAM stick installed. I carried on to put the other three RAM sticks into the system and the same story as before occurred, the system did not post. It seems the RAM is the issue. I just attempted to power on the computer this moment with the single RAM stick and it would not post. Any suggestions for the next course of action? Thank you.
