Hey

I need a new cpu cooler to overclock my i5 3570k. I'm getting a new pimp psu and lights n stuff to go with my baller sli gtx 770.

I've been looking at an 212 evo or a Scythe Big Shuriken 2.
Any suggestions? I don't want to pay over £50, or i may swell water cool

Cheers

The Noctua DH-14, Phanteks PH-TC14-PE and Thermalright Silver Arrow were the 'big 3" in air cooling for quite some time with a 7 - 1)C advantage over the Hyper 212 ..... all three however cost more than £50 ... the Cryrog beats them all and is cheaper.

Another one ya might look at is the Scythe Mugen 4 £39 which sits in between the Big 3 and the Hyper 212

Hyper 212 is £25 .... but if ya wanna wait a few weeks .... as of october 6th, you can buy the Cryorig R1 Ultimate for £48 which just may be the best air cooler on the market

If water cooling, the Swiftech H220-X would be my recommendation, that should hit in the last week of September.

Is it that much better for the price? I have a £150 budget for a 650w psu, LEDS/cables and the a cpu cooler
