Hi all,

I am very much obsessed with the InWin 901 ITX case and would like to build a gaming PC with it. Could you please give me some advice? I'd really appreciate any input and recommendations on how I can improve this rig. I don't think I will tamper with overclocking in the future so if I can go without those features and save budget a bit, I'd love to.

I learned from the other In Win 901 thread that water cooling might be a concern. How about the All-in-one compact liquid radiator?

Case+Power In Win 901 Mini-ITX 750W Power Supply Cases 901.H750TS Silver $291.92

Thank you very much!

You won't need 16GB of RAM for a gaming build, and a Z97 motherboard is a better choice than a Z87 board. Everything else looks okay, although I'd go with an EVGA G2 or B2 750W PSU and a better AIO, something like a NZXT X31.

Thank you very much Alex!

1) It seems that "MAXIMUS VII IMPACT" will be available in a month ($238.99). Do you think it a good choice? I am also considering Asus Z97I-PLUS ($156.99) because I am not sure if the fancy new features of Maximus VII apply to me.

2) As for Kraken™ X31, there are complaints about “Pump noise is terrible, incessant rattling”. Is it significantly better than Corsair Hydro Series H55 Quiet Edition? I was tempted by the word "Quiet Edition" but I have no experience with AIO, please advise.

EVGA G2 looks much better, I am going with this one instead.

Many thanks!

Thats okay! The X31 shouldn't have a loud pump, but if that worries you, the Corsair H75 is decent value too.
Where did you see that complain? It's possible they just got a faulty unit. I haven't heard of the pump being all that loud.
The Impact will be a great overclocker, but if you don't need the extra features the Z97I will do just fine.
Glad I could help :)
