I bought a lenovo k410 pc a year ago when I was pretty new to computers. It came with an i7 3770, 8gb ddr3 ram, 2 tb hdd, 280w psu, and nvidia gt 620 gpu
Fast forward a year later I put in a gtx 760, 750w psu, and have it booting off an intel 530 ssd. I am considering upgrading to a new motherboard along with a new heatsink, some more (or maybe new) ram, and a new case. Its just that I have no idea what to start looking for or where to start looking and whether or not it would be compatible with I what I plan to keep (the cpu, gpu and, psu) Also this shouldnt be too expensive correct?
I am considering the upgrade because my motherboard has given me such problems when trying to upgrade the gpu and boot it off an ssd and i want my computer to be ready for all the great games coming out soon

Solution
If you change the motherboard, you need another Window license, just to let you know.
Yes you can keep the cpu, ram , ssd, hard drive and gpu. Make sure you get a socket 1155 motherboard
