Is the Intel® Core™ i5-4690K Processor worth?

So I plan on getting the ASRock Fatal1ty Z97 Professional. Well I have everything I need for it but a CPU. Is the i5-4690K a safe way to go?

Yes. You have overclocking capability once you get a decent cpu cooler. Later on, if you find the performance of the stock i5 4690k not enough, you can overclock it to play catch up.

This CPU is the best choice for gaming. You dont really need a I7 processor for gaming.
As he said buy a good CPU Cooler like Hyper 212 and OC it later. For now he is beast
