i was thinking of getting a new monitor or gpu for my pc. my monitor is an old monitor that cant play any games because it can"t handle it. also my pc doesn't have a gpu so i was wondering of getting that, but i just saved up so i cant get both at the same time. so i don't know which i should get first. but my cpu graphics are pretty amazing for the price.
the monitor i want to get:
-Acer G226HQL Bbd 21.5in on sale (canada) for 119.99$

the gpu i want to get:

-Gigabyte Radeon HD R9 270X

pc build
intel pentium g3258
msi g43 z87 gaming
Seagate 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Hybrid
4gb adata ram
nzxt h440 case
600w corsair

Solution
The monitor will have little or no bearing on what games you can play. Your current lack of a discreet graphics card is the biggest limitation. Get the R9 270X first.

You should really buy ram in kits rather than 4gb at a time. Would save time troubleshooting compatibility. however if you do get 4gb more, make sure you get the same exact model. Even then it's up to chance if you don't buy them in the dual-channel kits that have been tested to work.
