i was wonderig if my computer would be able to play games like call of duty ghost ad other high end games with atleast mediam quality. my computer has a pentium r dual core e5800 3.2 ghz processor. its got 8 gigs of ram. 64 bit windows 7. it also has a MSI R7 250 2GD3 OC Radeon R7 250 2GB 128-Bit ddr3 video card.

Solution
R7 250 2GB 128-Bit ddr3 is a little worse than R7 250 1GB DDR5. And your cpu is kinda old (pentium r dual core e5800).
Just run new free 3dmark and see what you can do w/ new games. I think you still could get playable fps w/ low settings.

Well... if you are wanting to upgrade (which i suggest) to play the games you want without many problems, what would your budget be?

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/7QRqNG is part of the build I just did... I had a budget of around $250 but ended up doubling that due to upgrades. http://www.pc-specs.com/pc-custom-builder/cpu is a good tool to get a ballpark estimate of what you need to run each game respectively. I would start there with picking what parts you need and then price it from there. What would you want to sink into a new build if you had to? Also, do you know the specs of your build now? If so, can you list them? Upgrading existing parts could also be a cheaper alternative.

It's GDDR5 not DDR5... we just got DDR4 (and it's mostly out of stock), I don't think we'll see DDR5 in a while ;)

To OP, he means what are your system's specifications? Such as CPU, GPU, RAM, Power Supply Unit (PSU), and case?
