These are my specs:
CPU: i5-4670K
GPU: Sapphire R9 270x toxic
RAM: 8GB Kingston Hyper-X
So every time I start up Metro, it starts off fine, the frames are what they are supposed to be and then they just drop to ~15-20, even if I'm just sitting in a room with nothing in it. I have tried turning the settings up to the very highest and down to the very lowest but they all drop down to the same 15-20 frames. I have ran the MetroLastLight benchmark at varying settings, and they all come up good. At high settings, 1920x1080, no tesselation, AFx4, Directx 11 and with SSAA and PhysX turned off I get an average of 69FPS. My temps are all in the 40's when running the game, my drivers are all up to date and my rig runs every other game except Metro at max or near max at 60FPS, so I really have no idea why this is happening, any suggestions would be really appreciated!
