Hey all. I want to clear some confusion I have.
Will installing these decrease consumption or have no effect?
1. A drastically lower watt psu (500 to 200).
2. 1 higher RAM stick over 2 lower.
3. Decreasing CPU temp with after market hsf.
4. Different brand mobo or GPU.

Any recommendations of a low watt monitor? Size does not matter to me.

Any suggestions and knowledge is/ are appreciated. Thank you!

1. No effect. Your PC draws what it draws. Higher efficiency PSUs can help lower draw from wall.
2. No. Makes it worse - 2 sticks are more efficient.
3. No. Same heat is just dissipated by cooler.
4. Mod - very minor effect. GPU - the GPU itself mainly governs draw. Brands and coolers can make some minor variation

Low watt monitor - smallest led that you'd be happy with.

Mainly - use low power cpu and gpu eg laptop.

Actually, using a higher wattage PSU is likely to be more efficient rather than going to a lower wattage PSU. Using 1 stick may lower wattage very slightly but not enough to matter. Decreasing temps though a cooler won't affect wattage but you can lower the voltage going to the CPU with overclockable motherboards. Some aftermaket coolers are lower wattage than others but usually not by much.
