i'm wondering what could be the cause of my FPS drop since my PC wasn't like this from the moment I built it up to yesterday really. now all of a sudden when I play i get like average 45 fps

current set up

CPU - AMD A6-3500
GPU - Power Color HD 7770 pcs+
MOBO - ECS A55F-M3
RAM - Gskills ripjaws 4gb (2x2gb)
PSU - Cooler Master GX 650 watts
HDD - WD 1TB 7200rpm

*I currently have a better CPU and MOBO but I have yet to use it because I'm waiting for a better GPU for that particular set up* :)

Is your cpu / gpu overheating? Check your temps. You may be throttling...

is the card overheating ? .. if the card does overheating it will automatically decrease it speed (like Nvidia i dont know about ati/amd)

well my GPU is at 35degrees idle while my CPU I cant seem to find it's temp but I don't think it's overheating

Those temps are fine... your psu may be going faulty

Yes IF your Psu is going faulty the video card may likely having less power .. the min power for that video card is 400~450w so basically you need a 500w pSU

For that price range... Only one I can think of would be this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Only problem with that series from corsair, is that is there "junkers" lower-grade capacitors etc. Good overall, better than average. Up to you.

If you can shell out a little bit more money i'd recommend this one:

Newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-SuperNOVA-80PLUS-Certified-2...

But in still in good respect, we are throwing this in a direction, it may not resolve your issue, or it may. But getting a better PSU will be better in the long run anyways.
