Im trying to play games online on my xbox one, and i keep losing my connection randomly. i have the comtrend CT-5361T wireless router. Would buying a better or newer router solve this problem?

Depends on the cause of the connection issues. Nine times out of ten, it's probably some sort of interference or other signal issues, and of those nine, maybe two are resolved by replacing the access point.

A lot of things may be causing this. One of them would be that your router's wireless channel is set to a number that other devices in your home can easily interfere with. Try changing the wireless channel of your router. Another thing to consider is the age of your router. How long have you been using this router? There might be a bug or an issue with the router's software, with regard to the system(s) that you are running at your home. Some older routers may not be able to easily provide you with the performance that your devices demand at times.
