help with $1700 build?

not sure if i should get the amd 9590 or the i5 4690k because i heard the intel processors are better quality and dont run as hot, but that 5ghz is pretty tempting with the cheap price for it haha. other from that i decided to run 2 radeon r9 280x's instead of one gtx 780 because it seems to have better fps and other things despite the higher wattage. I'm also on the edge of either the blackwidow ultimate or the corsair k70. What do you guys think? this is also my very first custom build just so you guys know. But i've been researching for a really long time, about 6 months about all these parts and how they work and everything
