I'm replacing my 2000 next month because mine are cracked. Also, should have the 1500 V2, same changes as on the 2000, and you can actually find it in your price range http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-headphones-ca9011124na . I suggest the Corsair Vengeance 1500 V2 which is in your budget, has good sound quality and bass, and is a nice headset all around. I have the 2000 which is basically the same headset, just wireless, it actually has the exact same mic, and it has good quality, doesn't pick up too much background noise. It's comfortable too, I can wear mine for 20 hours and be fine. If you have any questions, I'd be happy to help.

Here is a mic test. That's with music playing in the background, not very loudly, but enough to simulate somebody talking in the other room.
