Title says it all, my friend is building a gaming computer... He will only use one screen @ 1440p.. I personally think 3GB purely because 6GB of VRAM is too much.. but i could be wrong :p ... please respond
Thanks

More about : friend evga gtx 780 6gb evga gtx 780 3gb

Wow, I didn't even know there was a 6GB version. If my budget fit I would go for the ti for a single screen, but that is just me.

780ti would do for most of the games at that resolution except watchdogs. It uses more than 3 GB of VRam.

I would recommend r9 290X then it has the power and the VRAM needed.
