This happened a few times before... I install my drivers for Dell Inspiron 15 3537 Windows 7 64 bit and they work fine for a few weeks. Then all of a sudon I cannot connect to my wi-fi ( I can however connect via cable ). Usually I would just reinstall my drivers and they would work again. This time they don't.
I tried going to Device Manager to see if there is a problem there but it looks the same as it does when my wi-fi is working. Then again don't take that seriously because my ... khm... knowledge is limited on this matter. I usually saw people asking for DEV and VEN, so here goes, in case this helps VEN_168C DEV_0036.
Really hope someone can answer fast, I am sick and in home whole day but i really don't won't to sit out the whole day next to my router... don't have a smart phone so I cant theater via USB or something. Other devices can connect to wi-fi (my other laptop, friends and families smartphones).

instead of turning of my touchpad i disabled wi-fi
