Greetings,

It's already been 3 months since my PC broke but still I just want to know, which one is faulty,
my computer still working at the night but then in the morning, I just switch on my UPS then turn on my PC immediately then suddenly my PSU explode by twice then the UPS green light is not working and noisy beep sound but when i remove the cord from the power outlet and turn on the UPS it looks like working fine cause I tried my speaker if it still working and my speaker works. Not sure what's the real problem cause this is the 3rd time my PSU explode the first 2 PSU was GX 750 Cooler Master 80 plus gold and the last one that kills my UPS or probably my PC is iMaster Jumbo 5000, 500w it has 80 plus probably standard or generic not branded for sure although I still have my Seasonic 760W 80plus GOLD

I just want to know which one is the culprit, my Power outlet, My PSU or my UPS I still have another pc but I can't risk that PC cause my brother really need that PC, if only if that PC was mine I'm definitely gonna risk it.

About my UPS, should I repair or just purchase an AVR? by the way my UPS is APC Back-UPS ES 500

More about : psu explode ups working

What is a UPS? You should never try to turn on a power supply that has blown up...

My question is, why would you use the pieces of junk power supplies if you had a Seasonic 760w Gold? Coolermaster units are known to be garbage mostly, and the other PSU is just a generic POS. I would blame the 3 shitty PSUs you used honestly.

Sounds like your ups or those crap power supplies. Use your seasonic one, why use crap psu when you can use a good one. it probably is the power supplies but if your seasonic goes boom its probably your ups. what are your specs.Dont risk your brothers good computer. Do you really need a ups? if you don't just don't use it

And that review is for the GX 2! The first is a whole lot worse.
Yeah, why would you use crap power supplies when you had a good one?

My GX cooler master was my first PSU and the next GX Cooler master was came from warranty and the last generic PSU was just for my back up purposes but there's something wrong with me PC back then and I force myself to change my PSU unit for a while into generic PSU and reinserted the CMOS battery and my PC works but I'm too lazy to return my Seasonic back into my motherboard to test if my Seasonic is the faulty or just CMOS battery for being too old and about why did I purchase cooler master I have no really idea about computer parts back then, I'm just keep on purchasing computer parts in the computer shop without knowing the background content of that PSU but atleast I've learn from my mistake.

UPS - Uninterrupted Power Supply and the brand name of my UPS is AMC back-UPS ES 500, I've been using the UPS for years but after I turn on my PC back then the PSU blown consecutive/twice, I didn't turn it off and turn in on again, it's just blown twice and right now my UPS is not working with power outlet only his battery is working. I'm not sure if I should called a technician to fix that UPS or just purchase a brand new UPS

New UPS, and put your Seasonic PSU back in. Don't be so lazy, your PC will thank you, lol. :p
