I know very little about networking. I just got a printer which I connected to the home network using ethernet. I installed the drivers on my laptop and the desktop and now the printer is available on both the computers. I share the wi-fi with other people in the house but I do not want them to access the printer since everything is on the same network. I was wondering how do I limit the printer access to other users on the same network and keep the printer exclusive to just my 2 computers.

Don't tell them the IP of the printer, they won't be able to connect to it. Turn it off when you are not using it. The printer itself may have options like a password before you can print, look into that. If it does not, you can't stop anyone that know the IP of the printer from printing to it directly.
