My LCD Screen is busted and I have no monitor. Can I hook it up to my TV through HDMI If so "How" I can not see anything on my laptop screen. So I can't do any of those things I've read on here because of the black screen. Is there anything I can do besides tossing the machine to recover my information before I loose it all?

Yes you can hook you laptop to you TV with HDMI cable and use function keys like F3 or F5 to send images out to you TV screen also select HDMI signal mode in you tv.
For black screen when you open or close the laptop do u see display coming and going on laptop screen ?? or has the screen completely black out , what ever you do ?

check your TV manual to see if it will allow connection to computer, and what connections it has.i would also agree with falan re. finding a replacement screen.
