i want to upgrade my MB and CPU to fit my graphics card (sapphire radeon r9 270x OC http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/product_index.aspx?pid=2037&lid=1) ideas of what to get? Current rig is MSI MS-7778 (Jasmine) and AMD A6-5400K dual core; max for MB and CPU $400, thanks

I'd recommend an AMD FX 6350 and a Gigabyte GA 78LMT USB3 for the motherboard, both of these will run you no more than $200.

I was thinking more like Socket AM3+ FX-8320 3.5 GHz and Socket AM3+ ASUS SABERTOOTH 990FX for the motherboard or would that be overkill for the graphics card? im nowhere near using its potential with my current rig.
